عيّن الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع عبدالقادر طحان رئيساً للاستخبارات العامة في إطار حزمة تعيينات جديدة في المؤسسات الأمنية.
وأفادت وكالة الأنباء السورية «سانا»، اليوم (الأحد)، بأن الشرع أصدر حزمة تعيينات جديدة في المؤسسات الأمنية، شملت عدداً من المناصب القيادية، وتضمنت تعيين المهندس أنس خطاب مديراً لمكتب الأمن الوطني، إضافة إلى مهماته وزيراً للداخلية.
وشملت تعيين حسين السلامة معاوناً لمدير مكتب الأمن الوطني، وتعيين ملهم الشنتوت معاوناً لوزير الداخلية للشؤون الأمنية.
ويُعد طحّان من الشخصيات الأمنية والعسكرية التي برزت خلال سنوات الحرب السورية. وكان قد شغل منصب نائب وزير الداخلية، بعد مسيرة في العمل الأمني والعسكري، قبل انتقاله إلى رئاسة جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، وفق تقارير إعلامية.
وأصدر الرئيس الشرع في شهر فبراير 2026 مرسوماً بتعيين طحّان نائباً لوزير الداخلية، في إطار إعادة تشكيل مؤسسات الدولة الأمنية والإدارية.
في غضون ذلك، توغلت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، (الأحد)، في قرية الصمدانية الشرقية بريف القنيطرة الشمالي، كما أطلقت أربع قذائف في محيط بلدة الحميدية.
وأكد شهود عيان أن قوة للاحتلال مؤلفة من خمس آليات عسكرية دخلت إلى قرية الصمدانية الشرقية، ونصبت حاجزاً مؤقتاً، وعمدت إلى تفتيش المارة.
واستهدفت قوات الاحتلال المتمركزة في بلدة الحميدية بريف القنيطرة بثلاث قذائف هاون وأخرى دخانية المنطقة الواقعة بين محيط بلدة الحميدية ومدينة السلام بريف القنيطرة الشمالي، دون وقوع إصابات.
وكانت قوة للاحتلال مؤلفة من ست آليات عسكرية توغلت، مساء أمس (السبت)، في محيط سد كودنا بريف القنيطرة الأوسط، تزامناً مع تحليق للطيران المسيّر الإسرائيلي في أجواء المنطقة، قبل أن تنسحب.
وتواصل إسرائيل انتهاك اتفاق فضّ الاشتباك لعام 1974 من خلال توغلاتها في الجنوب السوري، والاعتداء على المواطنين من خلال المداهمات والاعتقالات، وتجريف الأراضي وإطلاق القذائف.
The Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara appointed Abdul Qadir Tahan as the head of the General Intelligence in a new package of appointments in security institutions.
The Syrian News Agency “SANA” reported today (Sunday) that al-Shara issued a new package of appointments in security institutions, which included several leadership positions, and included the appointment of engineer Anas Khattab as the director of the National Security Office, in addition to his duties as Minister of Interior.
It included the appointment of Hussein Al-Salama as the assistant director of the National Security Office, and the appointment of Malham Al-Shantout as the assistant minister of interior for security affairs.
Tahan is considered one of the security and military figures that emerged during the years of the Syrian war. He had previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Interior, after a career in security and military work, before moving to the presidency of the General Intelligence Agency, according to media reports.
President al-Shara issued a decree in February 2026 appointing Tahan as Deputy Minister of Interior, as part of the restructuring of the state’s security and administrative institutions.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces advanced (on Sunday) into the village of Eastern Samdaniya in the northern Quneitra countryside, and fired four shells in the vicinity of the town of Al-Hamidiyah.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that an occupation force consisting of five military vehicles entered the village of Eastern Samdaniya, set up a temporary checkpoint, and proceeded to search passersby.
The occupation forces stationed in the town of Al-Hamidiyah in the Quneitra countryside targeted the area between the vicinity of Al-Hamidiyah and the city of Al-Salam in the northern Quneitra with three mortar shells and another smoke shell, with no injuries reported.
Earlier, an occupation force consisting of six military vehicles advanced last night (Saturday) into the vicinity of the Kudna Dam in the central Quneitra countryside, coinciding with the flight of Israeli drones in the skies of the area, before withdrawing.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 disengagement agreement through its incursions into southern Syria, and assaults on citizens through raids, arrests, land leveling, and shelling.
