أعربت وزارة الخارجية، عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية بأشد العبارات لما ورد على لسان ما يُسمّى بالمتحدث العسكري التابع لمليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية، من اتهامات للمملكة بفرض حصار على الشعب اليمني الشقيق وحظر الملاحة البحرية على اليمن.

وأكدت الوزارة، في بيانها أمس، أن المملكة عملت خلال السنوات الماضية، وبالتنسيق مع الحكومة اليمنية الشرعية، على التخفيف من معاناة الشعب اليمني، من خلال استمرار المشاريع التنموية، ودعم ميزانية الحكومة اليمنية، وتوفير المشتقات النفطية لتشغيل محطات الكهرباء. كما أوضحت، أن موانئ شمال اليمن (الحديدة، الصليف، رأس عيسى) استقبلت خلال النصف الأول من عام 2026، أكثر من 300 سفينة تحمل مواد غذائية وبضائع ووقوداً ومواد بناء، مع استمرار الالتزام بقرار مجلس الأمن 2216، الذي يمنع دخول الأسلحة والذخائر التي تسعى مليشيا الحوثي لإدخالها لإطالة أمد سيطرتها على مقدرات الشعب اليمني.
وذكّرت الوزارة بسجل مليشيا الحوثي في الاعتداءات التي طالت الشعب اليمني والبنى التحتية، ومنها استهداف مطار عدن في 30/12/2020، وما نتج عنه من سقوط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى، إضافة إلى استهداف موانئ تصدير النفط في جنوب اليمن بتاريخ 21/10/2022 خلال فترة التهدئة، وما تبع ذلك من هجمات هدفت إلى تعطيل قدرة الحكومة على بيع النفط الذي يمثل نحو 60% من إيراداتها، مما انعكس مباشرة على دفع رواتب الموظفين. كما أشارت إلى قيام المليشيا بمصادرة أربع طائرات تابعة للخطوط الجوية اليمنية بعد نقلها الحجاج اليمنيين من جدة، وجرّ اليمن إلى صراعات إقليمية عبر استهداف السفن التجارية في البحر الأحمر، الأمر الذي زاد من معاناة اليمنيين ومنعهم من السفر وعمّق الأزمات الاقتصادية، خصوصاً في المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرة المليشيا. كما رفضت المليشيا جميع المبادرات لإعادة تسيير الرحلات من مطار صنعاء، وآخرها المبادرة الأردنية، إلى جانب استمرار الانتهاكات الإنسانية بحق المواطنين اليمنيين، ومحاولة تصدير أزماتها الداخلية ورفض الشارع لها، عبر اختلاق الاتهامات الكاذبة وتوجيهها نحو المملكة.
دعم المملكة لجهود السلام
وشدّدت وزارة الخارجية، على أن موقف المملكة يستند إلى السعي لإحلال السلام في اليمن وإنهاء معاناة شعبه، حيث دعمت المملكة الجهود الأممية لتحقيق السلام على مدى السنوات الماضية، بما في ذلك خارطة الطريق التي وافقت عليها الحكومة اليمنية، بينما امتنعت المليشيا الحوثية عن إعلان قبولها، وانخرطت بدلاً من ذلك في صراعات إقليمية لخدمة أجنداتها، مما ضاعف من معاناة اليمنيين في مناطق سيطرتها.
وأضافت الوزارة، أن المملكة تطالب المجتمع الدولي بتحمّل مسؤولياته في تنفيذ قرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، وفي مقدمتها القرار 2216 بشأن اليمن، والقرار 2722 المتعلق بحقوق وحرية الملاحة في البحر الأحمر، مؤكدة في الوقت نفسه، أن المملكة ستتخذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية سفنها بما يتوافق مع القانون الدولي واتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار لعام 1982.
واختتمت الوزارة بيانها بالتأكيد على استمرار المملكة في دعم الشعب اليمني الشقيق وحكومته الشرعية.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the statements made by the so-called military spokesperson of the Houthi terrorist militia, accusing the Kingdom of imposing a blockade on the brotherly Yemeni people and banning maritime navigation to Yemen.
The ministry confirmed in its statement yesterday that the Kingdom has worked over the past years, in coordination with the legitimate Yemeni government, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people by continuing development projects, supporting the Yemeni government’s budget, and providing oil derivatives to operate electricity stations. It also clarified that the ports in northern Yemen (Hodeidah, Salif, Ras Issa) received more than 300 ships carrying food, goods, fuel, and construction materials during the first half of 2026, while continuing to adhere to Security Council Resolution 2216, which prohibits the entry of weapons and ammunition that the Houthi militia seeks to introduce to prolong its control over the resources of the Yemeni people.

The ministry reminded of the Houthi militia’s record of attacks against the Yemeni people and infrastructure, including the targeting of Aden Airport on 30/12/2020, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded, in addition to the targeting of oil export ports in southern Yemen on 21/10/2022 during the truce period, followed by attacks aimed at disrupting the government’s ability to sell oil, which represents about 60% of its revenues, directly affecting the payment of employee salaries. It also noted the militia’s confiscation of four planes belonging to Yemenia after transporting Yemeni pilgrims from Jeddah, dragging Yemen into regional conflicts by targeting commercial ships in the Red Sea, which increased the suffering of Yemenis, prevented them from traveling, and deepened economic crises, especially in areas under the militia’s control. The militia also rejected all initiatives to resume flights from Sana’a Airport, the latest being the Jordanian initiative, alongside the continued humanitarian violations against Yemeni citizens and attempts to export its internal crises and public rejection through fabricating false accusations directed at the Kingdom.
The Kingdom’s Support for Peace Efforts
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Kingdom’s position is based on the pursuit of peace in Yemen and ending the suffering of its people, as the Kingdom has supported international efforts to achieve peace over the past years, including the roadmap approved by the Yemeni government, while the Houthi militia refrained from announcing its acceptance and instead engaged in regional conflicts to serve its agendas, which has compounded the suffering of Yemenis in areas under its control.
The ministry added that the Kingdom calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities in implementing relevant Security Council resolutions, foremost among them Resolution 2216 regarding Yemen and Resolution 2722 related to the rights and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, while affirming at the same time that the Kingdom will take all necessary measures to protect its vessels in accordance with international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 1982.
It concluded its statement by reaffirming the Kingdom’s continued support for the brotherly Yemeni people and their legitimate government.
