بريطانيا تفتح قواعدها لضرب إيران.. وواشنطن تشدد الحصار - أخبار السعودية

وافق رئيس الوزراء البريطاني آندي بيرنام على استخدام الولايات المتحدة القواعد العسكرية البريطانية في ما تصفها بريطانيا بأنها ضربات دفاعية تستهدف إيران.

وذكرت وكالة «بلومبيرغ» أن رئيس الوزراء البريطاني الجديد آندي بيرنهام وافق على استخدام قواعد عسكرية بريطانية من جانب الولايات المتحدة لتنفيذ ضربات دفاعية ضد إيران، مواصلاً بذلك سياسة سلفه كير ستارمر.

ونقلت الوكالة عن مصدرين مطلعين أن ستارمر عقد اجتماعاً ضم وزراء ومسؤولين كباراً لبحث السياسة البريطانية بعد استئناف العمليات الأمريكية في وقت سابق من الشهر الجاري.

يأتي ذلك في وقت يصعّد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب حربه على طهران، وأعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية «سنتكوم» أن القوات الأمريكية غيّرت مسار ثماني سفن تجارية وعطلت سفينة واحدة، في إطار ما وصفته بالتنفيذ الكامل للحصار الذي تفرضه الولايات المتحدة على إيران.

وقالت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية على حسابها في «إكس»: «كل نجاح عملياتي في الشرق الأوسط يبدأ وينتهي بعناصر الخدمة العسكرية الذين يركزون على تنفيذ مهامهم، بما في ذلك الحصار الأمريكي على إيران»، مضيفة: «القوات الأمريكية، وحتى 21 يوليو، حوّلت مسار ثماني سفن تجارية وعطلت سفينة واحدة من أجل التطبيق الكامل للحصار».

من جهة أخرى، أكد قائد قوة «يونافور أسبيدس» البحرية، التابعة للاتحاد الأوروبي، الأدميرال فاسيليوس غريباريس، أن الحوثيين لا يزالون يشكلون تهديداً للملاحة البحرية، موضحاً أن القوة الأوروبية موجودة ومستعدة لتنفيذ ولايتها في حال استأنفت المليشيا هجماتها ضد السفن التجارية، وذلك في مقابلة مع «العربية.نت»/«الحدث.نت».

وشدد غريباريس على أن التطورات الأخيرة بين واشنطن وطهران أظهرت بوضوح أن حالة عدم الاستقرار الإقليمي تنعكس سريعاً على الأمن البحري، ولا سيما على مستوى الثقة وتكاليف التأمين وأنماط الشحن وتدفقات الطاقة وحركة الملاحة البحرية في عموم المنطقة.

Bloomberg reported that the new British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has approved the use of British military bases by the United States to carry out defensive strikes against Iran, continuing the policy of his predecessor Keir Starmer.

The agency quoted two informed sources stating that Starmer held a meeting that included ministers and senior officials to discuss British policy following the resumption of American operations earlier this month.

This comes at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump is escalating his war against Tehran, and the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that American forces redirected eight commercial ships and disrupted one vessel, as part of what it described as the full implementation of the U.S. blockade on Iran.

The U.S. Central Command stated on its account on X: “Every operational success in the Middle East begins and ends with military service members focused on executing their missions, including the U.S. blockade on Iran,” adding: “As of July 21, U.S. forces have redirected eight commercial ships and disrupted one vessel to ensure the full enforcement of the blockade.”

On another note, the commander of the EU naval force “EUNAVFOR MED Operation Sophia,” Admiral Vassilios Grigoris, confirmed that the Houthis still pose a threat to maritime navigation, explaining that the European force is present and ready to carry out its mandate if the militia resumes attacks against commercial vessels, in an interview with Al Arabiya.net/Al Hadath.net.

Grigoris emphasized that recent developments between Washington and Tehran have clearly shown that regional instability quickly reflects on maritime security, particularly in terms of confidence, insurance costs, shipping patterns, energy flows, and maritime navigation across the region.
