لقي 10 أشخاص مصرعهم، بينهم خمسة أطفال، إثر اندلاع حريق في أحد الأحياء في مدينة ليما. وأفادت الهيئة الوطنية للدفاع المدني في البيرو، في بيان اليوم، أن الحريق تسبب في إصابة شخصين آخرين بجروح وتدمير منزلين، مشيرة إلى أن من بين الضحايا تسعة أفراد من عائلة واحدة، خمسة منهم قُصر. وأضافت أنه تم فتح تحقيق لمعرفة الأسباب التي أدت إلى اندلاع الحريق.

Ten people, including five children, lost their lives as a result of a fire that broke out in a neighborhood in Lima. The National Civil Defense Institute of Peru reported in a statement today that the fire caused injuries to two other individuals and destroyed two houses, noting that among the victims were nine members of the same family, five of whom were minors. It added that an investigation has been opened to determine the causes that led to the outbreak of the fire.
