استقبل أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة (الأحد)، قائد القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي بالمنطقة الشرقية العقيد أحمد بن عثمان العثمان، الذي قدّم التقرير السنوي لأعمال القوة بالمنطقة.
وأكّد أمير المنطقة الشرقية أهمية الجهود التي تبذلها القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي في حماية البيئة والمحافظة على الموارد الطبيعية، وتعزيز الالتزام بالأنظمة والتعليمات، بما يسهم في صون المكتسبات البيئية ودعم مستهدفات التنمية المستدامة.
وقدّم العقيد العثمان لأمير المنطقة الشرقية عرضًا عن أبرز أعمال ومهمات القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي في المنطقة الشرقية، وما تضمنه التقرير من جهود ميدانية ورقابية للحد من التجاوزات البيئية، إلى جانب المبادرات والبرامج التوعوية الهادفة إلى رفع مستوى الوعي البيئي وتعزيز الشراكة مع الجهات ذات العلاقة.
ورفع العقيد العثمان الشكر والتقدير لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه واهتمامه، مؤكّدًا أن هذا الدعم يمثّل حافزًا لمواصلة العمل بكفاءة، وتعزيز الجهود الرامية إلى حماية البيئة والمحافظة على مواردها الطبيعية.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, received in his office at the Emirate’s Diwan (on Sunday) the Commander of the Special Forces for Environmental Security in the Eastern Province, Colonel Ahmed bin Othman Al-Othman, who presented the annual report of the force’s activities in the region.
The Prince of the Eastern Province emphasized the importance of the efforts made by the Special Forces for Environmental Security in protecting the environment and preserving natural resources, as well as enhancing compliance with regulations and instructions, which contributes to safeguarding environmental gains and supporting the goals of sustainable development.
Colonel Al-Othman presented to the Prince of the Eastern Province an overview of the most significant activities and missions of the Special Forces for Environmental Security in the Eastern Province, including the report’s details on field and monitoring efforts to limit environmental violations, along with initiatives and awareness programs aimed at raising environmental awareness and enhancing partnerships with relevant entities.
Colonel Al-Othman expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his support and interest, affirming that this support serves as an incentive to continue working efficiently and to strengthen efforts aimed at protecting the environment and preserving its natural resources.
