اجتاحت مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي خلال الساعات الماضية عريضة إلكترونية تطالب باستبعاد منتخب الأرجنتين من نهائي كأس العالم 2026، وذلك عقب فوز «التانغو» 2-1 على إنجلترا في نصف نهائي المونديال.
ووفقاً لبيانات موقع «Argentina Out» المستضيف للعريضة، فقد تجاوز عدد الموقعين 18.4 مليون توقيع حتى وقت كتابة هذا الخبر، احتجاجاً على ما وصفوه بـ «القرارات التحكيمية المتحيزة» طوال مشوار البطولة.
وتستند الحملة إلى مزاعم بأن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «FIFA» وحكام المباريات أظهروا «محاباة» واضحة لمنتخب الأرجنتين وقائده ليونيل ميسي.
ورافقت العريضة موجة غضب على المنصات، إذ عبّر العديد من المشجعين عن استيائهم من خروج منتخبات كبرى مثل البرتغال والبرازيل وفرنسا وإنجلترا، بينما وصلت الأرجنتين للنهائي.
من جانبه، لم يصدر الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «FIFA» حتى الآن أي تعليق رسمي بشأن العريضة.
يذكر أن العرائض الإلكترونية غير ملزمة قانونياً للاتحاد الدولي، والأرجنتين مؤهلة للمشاركة في المباراة النهائية وفق اللوائح المعتمدة.
In the past few hours, social media has been swept by an online petition calling for the exclusion of the Argentina national team from the 2026 World Cup final, following “La Albiceleste’s” 2-1 victory over England in the semifinals of the tournament.
According to data from the website “Argentina Out,” which hosts the petition, the number of signatories has surpassed 18.4 million signatures as of the time of writing this news, in protest against what they described as “biased refereeing decisions” throughout the tournament.
The campaign is based on allegations that the International Football Federation “FIFA” and match officials have shown “clear favoritism” towards the Argentina national team and its captain Lionel Messi.
The petition has been accompanied by a wave of anger on social media, as many fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the elimination of major teams such as Portugal, Brazil, France, and England, while Argentina reached the final.
For its part, FIFA has not yet issued any official comment regarding the petition.
It is worth noting that online petitions are not legally binding for FIFA, and Argentina is eligible to participate in the final match according to the established regulations.
