لوّح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بشن ضربات جديدة على إيران، مؤكداً أن أي محاولة لتحريك المواد أو استئناف النشاط داخل المواقع النووية الإيرانية ستقابل بـ«رد عسكري مباشر». وقال إن البديل عن الاستيلاء على المواد النووية الإيرانية هو «قصف المواقع مجدداً وتدميرها بالكامل».
وأضاف في مقابلة مع «فوكس نيوز» أن المنشآت النووية الإيرانية تخضع لمراقبة مستمرة عبر 9 كاميرات تعمل على مدار الساعة، معتبراً أن العمليات العسكرية الأمريكية السابقة منعت طهران من تطوير سلاح نووي.
«القيادة الإيرانية متصدعة»
وأشار ترمب إلى أن «مستويات القيادة الثلاثة الأولى في إيران تم القضاء عليها»، وأن القيادة الحالية «متصدعة»، لكنه قال في الوقت ذاته إن المسؤولين الإيرانيين الجدد الذين تتعامل معهم واشنطن «أكثر عقلانية» مقارنة بالسابق.
وشدد على أن الولايات المتحدة «لن تتحلى بالكثير من الصبر»، مطالباً الإيرانيين بإبرام صفقة سريعاً، ومؤكداً أن بلاده لن تسمح لطهران بامتلاك سلاح نووي «قد يُستخدم ضد إسرائيل والشرق الأوسط وأوروبا».
الصين على خط الأزمة
وكشف الرئيس الأمريكي أنه ناقش الملف الإيراني مع الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ، موضحاً أن بكين ترغب في بقاء مضيق هرمز مفتوحاً بسبب اعتمادها الكبير على نفط الشرق الأوسط.
وقال إن الصين تعتمد على نحو 40% من احتياجاتها النفطية على موقع واحد في المنطقة، مضيفاً أن الرئيس الصيني عرض المساعدة للتوصل إلى اتفاق مع إيران.
كما أشار ترمب إلى أن شي أبلغه بأن الصين لن تزود إيران بأي معدات عسكرية، لافتاً إلى أن العلاقات بين واشنطن وبكين شهدت نقاشات «صارمة» بشأن قضايا التجسس وسرقة الملكية الفكرية.
النفط واليورانيوم
وفي الملف الاقتصادي، قال ترمب إن أسعار النفط ارتفعت بشكل «ضئيل للغاية» رغم الحرب، مؤكداً أن الصين وافقت على شراء النفط الأمريكي وأن سفنها ستتجه قريباً إلى الموانئ الأمريكية.
وفيما يتعلق باليورانيوم الإيراني المخصب، قال: «يمكن دفنه، لكنني أفضل الحصول عليه»، مضيفاً أن إيران أقرت بأن الولايات المتحدة والصين فقط تمتلكان تكنولوجيا استخراج «الغبار النووي المدفون».
U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to launch new strikes on Iran, asserting that any attempt to move materials or resume activity within Iranian nuclear sites would be met with a “direct military response.” He stated that the alternative to seizing Iranian nuclear materials is “bombing the sites again and completely destroying them.”
He added in an interview with “Fox News” that Iranian nuclear facilities are under continuous surveillance via 9 cameras operating around the clock, considering that previous U.S. military operations have prevented Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon.
“The Iranian leadership is fractured”
Trump pointed out that “the top three levels of leadership in Iran have been eliminated,” and that the current leadership is “fractured,” but he simultaneously stated that the new Iranian officials that Washington is dealing with are “more rational” compared to their predecessors.
He emphasized that the United States “will not be very patient,” urging the Iranians to strike a deal quickly, and asserting that his country will not allow Tehran to possess a nuclear weapon “that could be used against Israel, the Middle East, and Europe.”
China in the crisis line
The U.S. president revealed that he discussed the Iranian file with Chinese President Xi Jinping, explaining that Beijing wants the Strait of Hormuz to remain open due to its heavy reliance on Middle Eastern oil.
He stated that China depends on about 40% of its oil needs from one location in the region, adding that the Chinese president offered assistance in reaching an agreement with Iran.
Trump also noted that Xi informed him that China would not supply Iran with any military equipment, pointing out that relations between Washington and Beijing have seen “stern” discussions regarding issues of espionage and intellectual property theft.
Oil and uranium
On the economic front, Trump stated that oil prices have risen “very slightly” despite the war, confirming that China has agreed to purchase U.S. oil and that its ships will soon head to American ports.
Regarding enriched Iranian uranium, he said: “It can be buried, but I prefer to get it,” adding that Iran has acknowledged that only the United States and China possess the technology to extract “buried nuclear dust.”
